Zines as Resistance

The choice to document this project as a zine connects to NYC's rich history of DIY publishing as a form of community resistance and knowledge-sharing. From punk zines in the East Village to immigrant community newsletters in Queens, New Yorkers have long used self-publishing to document their experiences outside official narratives.

Our security zine continues this tradition by centering community voices in conversations about technology that are typically dominated by corporations and government agencies.
